Marriage Ministry

Healthy marriages are the building blocks of a healthy church and a healthy community. Couples devoted to following Christ can uniquely reflect God’s sacrificial love, deeply impact beliefs of the next generation, and ultimately transform the body of Christ from the inside out. We are committed to nourish marriages and disciple couples through Merge, Newly Married Connect Groups, and re|engage.

Merge is a premarital, small-group discipleship ministry designed for engaged and seriously dating couples. It’s a chance to seek wisdom and receive counsel about marriage in a safe, fun, and authentic environment.

Merge addresses common questions and challenges from a biblical perspective. Class dynamics include: large group teaching, small group discussion with mentors, and weekly homework.

Newly Married Connect Groups

The first few years of marriage are often the most difficult, but can also be the most joyous. Our Newly Married Connect Groups are for married couples who have been married 3 years or less. We’ll place 4-6 couples in a group together with an experienced couple who disciples and mentors them through foundational truths that help sustain a marriage. As the couples establish this solid foundation for their marriage (Matthew 7:24-27), we hope they become more like Jesus, experience healthy community, grow in oneness with their spouse, and learn to live on mission with their life and marriage.

Re|engage is a small-group, discipleship-based enrichment ministry for every marriage – the healthy, the struggling, and the broken. This ministry draws married couples to the church, giving them a safe place to move toward oneness through small groups, teaching, and stories of hope. We believe that every marriage can benefit from re|engage, whether couples are struggling to get along, the marriage seems broken, or they simply want to grow closer together relationally. The goal of re|engage is to fashion couples into better disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe as our hearts better align with God’s plan and desire for our lives, all relationships (including our marriages) will improve.
