At Living Hope, we serve because we’ve first been served—by a Savior who humbled Himself to lift us up. Serving is not about filling spots; it’s about being shaped into the image of Jesus, participating in His mission, and loving others with His love.
Serving Inside the Church
It takes over 500 volunteers each weekend to make ministry possible—and every one of them matters. But serving doesn’t just help others. It grows us, connects us, and strengthens the church.
Whether you’re behind the scenes or up front, introverted or outgoing, there’s a place for you:
- Kids & Students: Teach Bible stories, play games, speak truth into young lives.
- Hospitality: Greet guests, serve coffee, create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Worship & Tech: Sing, play, run sound or slides to support gathered worship.
- Safety: Provide a safe and seamless environment for families.
- Special Needs: Support and love individuals of all abilities.
- Administrative Teams: Use behind-the-scenes gifts to support church operations.
No matter your talents or schedule, there’s room for you to grow and give.
Serving Beyond Sunday
We also believe service extends beyond the church walls. Our people are called to live on mission—in neighborhoods, cities, and nations.
- Local Ministry Partners: Join ongoing projects that serve vulnerable neighbors, schools, and nonprofits across Bowling Green and beyond.
- Mission Trips: Be sent to support global partners through evangelism, construction, prayer, and teaching.
- Small Group Leadership: Shepherd a group of people toward gospel transformation in community.
- Prayer & Care: Offer encouragement, support, and prayer to those walking through hardship.
