Our High School Ministry is designed to help connect students to the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ and help them to live the life of a disciple of Jesus. During this time of Covid-19, we have adjusted our ministry to continue to make disciples while exercising needed caution. Small Groups gather on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the Student Center for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. Social distancing and safe practices are followed closely. High School Worship meets on Wednesday night from 6:30-8 for student-led worship, a message from God’s Word, and discussion.Activities are designed to connect students in friendships as part of Biblical Community. Some of these are a large group and some are small groups of students, but all follow the current CDC guidelines. He is married to Joni, a kindergarten teacher, and they have three children (Ethan, Sophia and Josiah). Chad is passionate about helping students know Jesus as Savior, grow to fully know, love and obey Him, and become culture shapers for Christ. He enjoys being outdoors, playing and watching sports, especially Philadelphia teams, and spending time with his family.Jenn SmithHigh School Administrative AssistantJenn has been a member of Living Hope since 2011. She has been married to her husband, Matt, since 2010, and they have three children (Madison, Colby, and Abigail). She enjoys serving others, showing them the love of Jesus, and helping students in their walk with the Lord. She loves tacos, reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Florida Gators.Jaidyn SwannerMinistry AssistantJaidyn is an undergraduate student at Western Kentucky University pursuing a degree in business management (major) and nonprofit management (minor). Jaidyn is eager to see students walk as authentic disciples of Christ, devote themselves to the Word, and making Christ’s name known to their context and contexts around the world. He loves baseball, reading, spending time outdoors, and the Chicago Cubs.Alessa GarciaMinistry AssistantAlessa is currently a student at Western Kentucky University majoring in Business Economics and Entrepreneurship. She is eager to help students go through the same growth experience she had while being discipled in the High School Ministry. She enjoys baking, drinking Spencer’s coffee, and eating sushi.Josh CrawfordMinistry AssistantJosh has been serving at Living Hope since 2017 as part of the welcome and worship teams. Josh has a passion for music and leading others in worship. He is excited to use his gifts to be able to help students engage in an intimate encounter with the Spirit of God. He is an automotive enthusiast, likes cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and getting daily exercise.
