God created us for community. Church membership is not just an option to consider, it is a meaningful step of obedience, commitment, and belonging.
We live in a world that often pulls people toward isolation, independence, and a “just attend when I can” approach to church. But that is not how God designed His people to live. From the very beginning, He has called us into committed relationships — with Him and with one another. The Christian life is meant to be shared.
At Living Hope, membership is a public “yes” to following Jesus together as a church family. It means more than having your name on a list. It means committing to worship faithfully, grow biblically, belong covenantally, serve meaningfully, and join the mission of making disciples.
Take Your Next Step Toward Membership
If you are considering making Living Hope your church home, we invite you to attend Membership Class.
Membership Class is designed to help you learn more about who we are as a church, what we believe, how we live together, and how you can take your next faithful step.
Most months, Membership Class is offered on the last two Sundays of the month. During the class, we will walk through Living Hope’s story, mission, beliefs, leadership, partnerships, and membership covenant. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet leaders, and prayerfully consider whether Living Hope is the church family God is calling you to join.
What Membership Means
Covenant membership means we commit to follow Christ together.
As members, we commit to:
- Gather faithfully for worship
- Connect meaningfully with others
- Serve the church and the world
- Be equipped for growth
- Make more disciples
Membership also opens the door to deeper covenant community through Small Group life, as healthy group space and trained shepherding capacity become available.
