The Middle School Ministry at Living Hope is designed to connect students to the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ and help them to live the life of a fruit-bearing disciple of Jesus. We are committed to teaching young men and women to live out their God-given identities in Christ. Our desire is to cultivate an atmosphere where Gospel seeds are planted, and students grow in maturity through the study and application of God’s Word.
- Sunday Morning Bible Classes (9 & 10:15 in the Basement – Entrance M)
- These are identical gatherings where students fellowship with peers, play games, sit under large group teaching from the Bible, and break into small groups divided by grade and gender to discuss the teaching. Sunday mornings are designed to teach students about their identity in Christ and how to live as a fruit-bearing disciple of Jesus. In their small groups, students aren’t just faces in a crowd. They are known by name and mentored by caring leaders who dive deeper into the scriptures with them.
- Wednesday Nights in the Underground (6-8 in the Basement – Entrance M)
- The Hangout: We kick things off with intentional time to relax, catch up with friends, play games, and enjoy a light dinner provided by our church.
- Worship & Teaching: We transition into a time of worship through singing and a message from the Bible that speaks directly to the joys and challenges that middle school students face today.
- Mega Groups: Students break into groups divided by grade and gender to reflect on their week, discuss the teaching, apply the teaching directly to their lives, ask honest questions, and pray for one another.
- Fall Retreat, D-Now, Crossings (summer camp) and Guy/Girl Specific Events are designed to deepen students’ faith and connect them to other Christian teens.
