Orchards are planted and groomed with intentionality. Every tree is planted, cultivated, and cared for with purpose. There are multiple generations growing together, each contributing to the health and fruitfulness of the orchard. But the goal is always the same: fruit.
We must measure our lives not simply by what we build, but by the fruit we bear. At Living Hope, we are an orchard of fruit-bearing disciples abiding in Jesus.
We plant Gospel seeds, water with truth, and trust God for the growth. We don’t simply want to become a bigger church, we want to become a more fruitful church. So how do we become a more fruitful church? We must sustain the five roots of the disciple’s life:
- Gather for worship
- Connect with a group
- Serve the church and world
- Equip for growth
- Make More Disciples
Every tree in an orchard needs strong roots to produce good fruit. Healthy roots produce fruitful lives. Fruitful lives multiply disciples. And multiplying disciples make much of Jesus.
