The deacon body is recommending the church affirms Cameron Graves, Adam Jackson, Trey Lyon, Wes Orange, Doug Stigge, & Kevin Yates to begin serving as deacons. The bios for these new deacon candidates are posted below.
The deacon body is also recommending members reaffirm Jay Berryman, Andrew Boyle, Keith Brown, Andy Capps, Dennis Chaney, Mahlon Cowan, Nick McWhorter, & Stephen Carrico as deacons.
The member vote to reaffirm and affirm will begin Sunday, November 1, and remain open through Tuesday, November 3. If you have questions about the candidates, please talk to them, speak to one of our active deacons, or email elliott.pratt@lhbg.org.

Cameron Graves
Cam was born and raised in Franklin, Kentucky. After graduating from Western Kentucky University, he met his wife, Jennifer, and the couple settled in Tacoma, Washington. Returning to Bowling Green in 2013, they began attending Living Hope in 2014 and have called it their church home ever since.
Cam and Jen have three children: Jarel, Reagan, and Caden. Jarel lives in Tacoma, Washington, Reagan is a junior at WKU, and Caden is a senior at Greenwood High School.
At Living Hope, Cam enjoys building relationships through two men’s groups and a small group along with his wife. He also has the privilege of serving in the High School Ministry as a leader for the junior boys’ class, investing in the next generation, and watching God work in their lives.
Cam enjoys serving alongside his church family at Living Hope. He is thankful for the relationships, opportunities to serve, and the ways God continues to work through the church community.

Adam Jackson
Adam Jackson was born and raised in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, and is grateful to call this community home. Adam is a veteran of the United States Air Force, the owner of Look Sharp Dry Cleaners, and a member of the Warren County Public Schools Board of Education. He has been married to his wife, Bethany, for nine years, and together they have two daughters, Caroline and Annemarie.
In 2015, Adam accepted Christ as his Savior. Since then, his faith has continued to guide his life, shape his commitment to his family, and inspire his service to others.

Trey Lyon
Trey Lyon is a Kentucky native who came to faith in Christ in 1982 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He and his wife, Bellamy, have been married for 29 years and served with the International Mission Board in the Asia-Pacific region for 13 years. Trey holds degrees from Western Kentucky University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently serves with the IMB, while Bellamy serves in Living Hope’s Missions Office. They have two adult sons, Brenden (Melanie) and Asher.

Wes Orange
Wes is a Bowling Green native and proud WKU alumni. He has worked at Houchens Insurance Group in Large Commercial sales since 2024. Wes and his wife, Alice, grew up at Hillvue Heights Church where he was baptized in 2006. After marriage, the Oranges belonged to Sojourn Community Church (Shelby Park) in Louisville before moving back to Bowling Green in 2016, where they eventually became members of Living Hope in 2019. Wes leads a small group, serves in the Bridge ministry, and attends as many James 1:27 nights as he can. He has two children, Olivia Orange (10) and Charlie Orange (5).

Doug Stigge
Doug, with his wife, Nanci, moved from Northern California in 2022 and started attending Living Hope soon after. He worked as a Physical Therapist over 40 years and now is retired and enjoys photographing his grandson’s playing sports and God’s glorious creation. Nanci worked as an occupational therapist and now is retired and enjoys quilting and watching NASCAR races. They also enjoy traveling and finding great adventures together. They have one daughter who lives here in Bowling Green with her husband, and two of their three sons. The oldest grandson lives in Northern California. They also have a son who lives in Southern California.

Kevin Yates
Kevin is a Bowling Green, Kentucky native who accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 10. He met his wife, Leanne, while attending Western Kentucky University. Together they are raising two children, Kinley (8) and Karson (6). The family has called Living Hope their church home since 2016.
Kevin works as a commercial lender at Edmonton State Bank and also teaches part-time at WKU. He is passionate about serving his community. He is President of the Board for New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding and a board member for Southern Kentucky FCA. At Living Hope, Kevin has completed Rooted and the Better Man series, and you’ll often find him greeting people as part of the church’s welcome team.
