Passion
My name is Dawson Tummins and I have the privilege of serving as Interim Worship Leader here at Living Hope. I’ve been at Living Hope since the fall of 2022 in various positions within the worship ministry and doing discipleship with the college and young adult ministry. All the while, falling in love with this church!
I grew up in a small country church in McEwen, Tennessee, was saved and baptized at a young age, and was in and around praise and worship teams the whole time. God first called me into ministry when I was in high school and since then, the Lord has continued to provide great opportunities to learn about ministry and to serve his church.
My wife Kayla and I got married 6 months after I started serving here at Living Hope, and we’ve continued to grow closer to God and to each other since — we enjoy playing pickleball, baking sourdough, playing Fortnite on the daily, and serving on the worship team together. She’s a wonderful blessing to me and I’m so thankful that the Lord put her in my life.
I was licensed into ministry last fall and am very excited to continue to serve our church now as a minister. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement — I love our church and am so thankful for the blessing that it is to me and my family.
