J.D. Payne
Professor, Christian Ministry, Samford University
J.D. serves as a Professor of Christian Ministry at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to this role, he served as the pastor of church multiplication with The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham and taught missions and evangelism at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for ten years. He has pastored churches in Kentucky and Indiana and served with several church planting teams. He has published sixteen books on missions, writes regularly at jdpayne.org, and hosts a podcast (Strike the Match).
